Many Participants in Tai Chi claim to experience an increase in their physical and mental wellbeing. Regular practice improves mental health and lowers stress, says Dr Xin Liu from the University of Queensland. “By easing symptoms of anxiety and depression, tai chi may also reduce the risk of developing other health conditions such as cardiovascular disease and diabetes. There’s strong evidence showing a relationship between depression and many other conditions.”
